Culture and Tourism

Cultural heritage is a combination of objects and concepts that bring about considerable social challenges. It is a potential driver of socio-economic dynamics and is considered as a complex system of interactions between different types of processes, from knowledge, monitoring and conservation to value enhancement and fruition, which operate on a network of different types of cultural assets (tangible, intangible and natural-anthropic) and the relative contexts.

In response to the social challenges linked to the cultural heritage we intend to promote actions in support of:

Bringing innovation in different areas related to the management of cultural heritage.
The development of new systems and services that increase the accessibility of information related to cultural heritage.
Connection of these systems and services to the tourism industry, involving all the different stakeholders.
